For all you 90s babies, Impactasnap is so excited about our campaign with FernGully! From now until April, specifically Earth Day, all posts made with the campaign hashtags #FernGullyGives and #Impactasnap will make a $1 donation to the WWF supporting the protection of wildlife and rainforest habitats.
Not everyone may be familiar with the 90s cartoon movie, so I’ll give you the quick gist. Aside from that, we highly recommend giving it a watch. The story follows Crysta, a young fairy who lives in FernGully in the rainforest. The fairies of FernGully used to live with humans, but now believe them to be extinct after being driven away by the evil spirit of destruction, Hexxus. Crysta meets a bat, appropriately named Batty, who was experimented on by humans and now has a manic personality. Crysta follows batty to investigate the possible return of humans. There she meets a young logger named Zak, whom she inadvertently shrinks trying to save him. The two, Zak and Crysta, are from very different worlds and must work together to save the forest from the humans and the return of Hexxus.
